Angela has a Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. She then obtained her BCBA certification and is licensed in Tennessee to practice ABA. She has 4 children, one of whom was born with Down's Syndrome, her inspiration to create this project. She also has 2 grandchildren whom she adores.
Lead Teacher
Ms. Presley obtained her master's degree from UTK in Special Education. She taught for 13 years in Anderson County. It has always been her dream to provide vocational training to adults with special needs. She is very excited to explore this new opportunity.
Board Members
Ms. Calleiro has been a certified teacher for over 12 years. She obtained her Bachelor's of Psychology and Human Services in 2008 (BS) and Master's of Teaching (MAT) in 2013. She has a wealth of additional experience in business and finance. She is not only a special needs teacher, but also a parent to a 17-year-old, diagnosed with Phelan Mcdermid syndrome which manifests as Autism Disorder. Her daughter is thriving because of ABA therapy, teachers, and an extensive partnership with community resources. Ms. Calleiro is known for her creative learning designs.
Teacher Assistant / Behavior Technician
Faith runs the coffee shop and trains our student interns in vocational skills such as how to make the food and drinks we serve as well as how to greet customers and take orders. Faith is currently in college studying to become a teacher.
Barista Extraordinaire
Jeff moved here recently and after working 20 years for Target, he decided for a change. He is our first graduate employee.
Secretary of the Board
Irina serves on the board as a support for Angela having had experience working with individuals with developmental delay and vocational training. Irina currently works as a real estate agent in Knoxville, has served 8 years in the Special needs community and as a behavior Technician, and continues to be an avid volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Knoxville and her local church. She is ready to see how the Knoxville community will be changed by our coffee shop as well as seeing the lives of our newest employees be changed as well.
