I'm a wife of 32 years, mother of 4, and I have 2 grandsons with another grandchild on the way.  I am a University of Maine at Machias graduate with my bachelor's in elementary education and received my teacher certification in 2001.  I have taught kindergarten, preschool, and I have worked for Child Development Services.  My family and I decided that homeschooling was the path for us.  I returned to college to receive my Master's in Child, Youth, and Family Services.  I worked as a therapist before joining Peer Academy returning to teaching.  Peer Academy gives me the opportunity to teach and also use my therapy knowledge.  My passion is working with and for children.  There is no greater purpose than to serve children and have the privilege to touch the future.
